Julie Gillum Lue grew up in Colorado and spent more than 10 years working for the National Park Service, US Fish & Wildlife Service, and Forest Service. Her stories and essays have appeared in High Country News, Montana Outdoors, Gray’s Sporting Journal, Christian Science Monitor, and Big Sky Journal. Julie’s first children’s book, What I Saw in Grand Teton: A Kid’s Guide to the National Park, was published by Riverbend Publishing in April 2017.
