Carol Blake wore many hats before moving to Montana from California twenty-five years ago. As a real estate broker in California and Montana for 35 years, she juggled property sales while cultivating a commercial avocado grove and flower plantation. Developing property has always been a passion and after building five homes and a small shopping center she is now retired. For fifteen years she volunteered at the local nursing home reading stories to residents. Currently she enjoys sleeping in and waking up to coffee with a good book. As a 20-year member of the Eureka book club and more recently a stimulating writing group, she is grateful everyday to live in the amazing state of Montana.
