Sandra Scofield is the author of 11 books: seven novels (including a National Book Award finalist); a memoir, Occasions of Sin; a book of essays about family, Mysteries of Love and Grief; a craft book, The Scene Book; and most recently, Swim: Stories of the Sixties. The Last Draft: A Novelist's Guide to Revision is forthcoming this fall. She has taught in MFA programs and summer workshops for the past 20+ years. Scofield grew up in Texas, lived all over, settled in Oregon, and moved to Montana in 2005. She is an avid reader, traveler, and painter.
